Like most cinephiles, I have a lot of VHS and DVD, and I'm not going to rebuy all my favorites. I chose this unit because I would have all three types of media, with an element of play, and the boy I'm glad I did! Before buying this system, we actually stopped watching our VHS collection. The fuzzy, grainy mess was just too many distractions to see our 42 "plasma. Panasonic made such a huge difference in the VHS picture and sound quality we were really looking at some of our old tapes. Note, the VHS is not so clear like a DVD or Blu-Ray, but our old favorites are virtually no distortion or static and the sound is at least 10 times better. I'm really surprised at how the quality actually improved. This really brought our library VHS back from the dead.
As Blu-Ray and DVD, the image and sound quality is perfect as expected. The HDMI cable allows for easy connection and there was virtually no installation or additional configuration that my choice of TV. I have not used all of the on-line added (YouTube and what not) because all I can do on the TiVo, but I was also happy that support USB and SD to see. This unit has a great work of the media means that the entire collection together. I'm surprised this has not been captured in more … And 'this idea really easy and convenient. I'm glad that I picked, and I would recommend to all those who wish to maintain their old favorites.
